New seven-seat crossover to be revealed on November 28
The upcoming 2019 Subaru Ascent three-row SUV has been teased again, ahead of its debut at the Los Angeles motor show next week. the new teaser snap other than the seating configuration, which in this case is a 2+2+3 seven-seat layout.
The Ascent concept (above) that previewed it, and measure over five metres long.That power will come from a new 2.4-litre turbocharged ‘boxer’ four. Outputs are yet to be detailed, but we reckon they’ll be comparable to the current 191kW/350Nm 3.5-litre flat six used in the Liberty and Outback.The new SUV will be built at the company’s Indiana facility in the USA, though it’s unclear whether it will also be offered in right-hand drive.
